Speaking at Campus Days 2014

Microsoft Campus Days 2014 is nearly a month away and I’m exited to announce that I’ll be speaking at this event.

This event is the biggest Microsoft Infrastructure event in Denmark with about 100 sessions.

This year none of the sessions will be recorded and published on Channel9, so if you want to learn more, you need to attend the event.

I’ll host a session about Securing and Protecting your Private Cloud/Data. You can find the session here

Some of my co-workers are also speaking at Campus Days 2014.

Hi all,

Just got home from Microsoft Campus Days 2013 Event where I this year presented 2 sessions (level 300).
http://www.conferencemanager.dk/campusdays2013

First Session was at the Windows Client track and about Windows Intune, Direct Management or connected with ConfigMgr 2012 SP1. I also spoke about using DirSync and ADFS. I’m a huge fan of ADFS and if you haven’t looked at ADFS before, now is the right time. More and more services hookup with ADFS.
Read more here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh831502.aspx (Content will be updates to Windows Server 2012 R2 soon, I hope)

My second session was at the Datacenter track and about upgrading/migrating Active Directory to Windows Server 2012 R2. A lot of customers are still running primarily Windows Server 2008 R2 and some even at older versions!!! I spoke about the new features and functions and how customers are able to use PowerShell to migrate services like DHCP and Network Policy Server (NPS). Nearly all customers/attendees present at my session were still using FRS Replication even if they had upgraded to Windows Server 2008/2008R2/2012. I demo’ed migration of DHCP/NPS using PowerShell and how to upgrade the replication from FRS to DFS-R.

See the Session “Migrating your Active Directory to Windows Server 2012 R2” here:

Content should be available shortly.

All in all a great event and the evaluations were fine too. Both sessions combined I got approx. 4,5 out of 5 in Speaker performance, Relevance and Match of technical level.

Microsoft: A New Era of IT

Today we are ready for the Keynote for Microsoft “A New Era of IT”.

After today’s program at “Tivoli Congress Center” I’m heading for Microsoft Campus Days 2012 where I have 2 speaker sessions. One about Windows Server 2012 DirectAccess and the new Network Features and one session with my fellow colleague Ronni Pedersen about a customer case: Windows Server 2012.

Again this year I will be located at the Ask The Expert (ATE) booth, so come and join me for a small talk about the new opportunities.

Hope to see you!
