Trouble with Group Policy Preferences and printers?

Mapping printers using Group Policy Preferences has not always been as easy as it seems. Lately I have had problems in a Windows Server 2008 service Pack 2 / Windows Vista Service Pack 2 environment. %SystemRoot\System32\wusa.exe path\msu file /quiet /norestart

..and all my troubles (with GPP) went away
